Link-Up with The Belles of Saturday - Week 13

I CANNOT believe this past weekend marked the end of the regular season in college football.  It was a very bittersweet weekend for me.  I am sad because it was our last game of our year (other than our bowl game!) but excited because NC State came from being behind TWENTY SEVEN points late in the third quarter to beat Maryland 56-41.  We scored FORTY TWO unanswered points.  It was the second biggest comeback between two ACC teams in ACC history and the biggest comeback ever at NC State!! I watched it go down and person and still am shocked at how in the world it happened.

Today I am linking up with The Belles of Saturday to share my Gameday pics.  I haven't posted pics from our last few home games, so these are a mix of picture.

Scoreboard after we shut out our rival UNC!!!

A glimpse of our new tailgating bus.  I'll have to do a full post on this at a later date.

A girl at the tailgate next to mine at the last game made these Turkey treats and I had to get a pic!

I love that we have police horses!

Football office friends!

The Harv and my sis

Ok, so I need a little blush, well a lot, but we were so pumped after our gigantic comeback!!!

Two's Company Reef Collection

I posted about the beach totes in the Two's Company Reef Collection this past summer, but in my googling of nautical things to help me make my Christmas list, I came across more of the collection and LOVE it.

Two's Company Reef Multipurpose Bag

Two's Company Reef Robe

Two's Company Reef Short

Two's Company Reef Pajamas

Ok, so I probably wouldn't wear this as a set (for fear of looking like I am 75) but I'd totally rock the pants and the shirt separately!

Clothing Review - YT Clothing

A few weeks ago, I was introduced to a new company via Twitter called YT Clothing.  I saw something about Gameday dresses, which you know caught my eye, and immediately went to their website.  Well I loved what I found.  Classic, Gameday dresses in tailgating-approved colors.  I then tweeted YT Clothing and told them I loved their dresses and they offered to send me one to review!! I was PUMPED. Below are their three dress styles.

The Katie Dress
The Lindsay Dress
The Sarah Dress

It was hard for me to choose, but I went with the Lindsay Dress.  I figured I would wear this a lot of places.  Football games, church, work, and even out!

Below are three pictures of me wearing the Lindsay dress.  I took a few different ones to show how versatile the dress is.  The dress was packaged so nicely, with 2 koozies and one of their 3 Cords headbands. I meant to take a picture of it all together, but I was so excited about the dress, I forgot to.

So... you ready for my honest opinion of this dress and YT Clothing. I. LOVE. IT. For one, this dress is one of the most comfortable dresses I have ever worn.  The material is super soft and this dress is a classic.  I wore it shopping a few weeks ago and a woman stopped me in Banana Republic and told me she loved my dress. I also got several compliments on it at the football game.  I would love to have it in another color!

and two, Katie, one of the owners of YT Clothing and their business practices are AWESOME.  I can tell that Katie and all of YT Clothing has a passion for Gameday fashion and football and I am really inspired by how they started and run their company.  The 3 Cords headbands they sell are made by amputee women and mothers of amputee children in Haiti.  I have mine hanging in my room where I can always see it, to remind me to not sweat the little things...

YT Clothing also has really cute Gameday jewelry in various colors and me and Ashton are hosting a giveaway for some of their jewelry over at The Belles of Saturday.  Head over to enter!

and thanks again for the dress Katie, I love it and will represent YT Clothing well!

I've Missed Y'all!

So I've had quite a few people notice that I've been MIA on here for the past month and have asked me where I've been so I just wanted to give y'all a little update. (I'm thankful you've noticed that I've been missing, makes a girl feel good!)  I've still been trying to read through blogs, but just haven't had time to comment.

1. It's football season and like I warned everyone it pretty much consumes my whole weekend (which is when I used to do a lot of my blogging.)  If I'm not at a game, I'm watching one.

2. I have put most of my blogging energy into my football blog The Belles of Saturday.  Sadly, there are only a few more weeks of college football left, so that will be winding down soon and I'll be back on here full time.  I'm definitely going to need to start focusing on nautical things again to help get me through the depression that sets in once fb is over.

3. I got a new job.  I switched from the engineering industry to the finance industry (which is a large change) and have been packing so much into my brain during the day that when I get home the last thing I want to do is be on this computer.  I have a work wardrobe post I am planning for when I return.

4. I got a botched haircut a few weeks ago and had to get my hair CHOPPED OFF.  I'm talking I had like 85% of my hair cut off... I am finally to the point where I can talk about it without freaking out.  This is going to be a real good story that I can't wait to share with y'all.

anddd that's about all I can think of for now, I'll be back soon!
