Friday's Fancies - Lil Wayne Concert

Today for Friday's Fancies with {av}, of {long distance loving}, I went for a different look than you normally see from me, a little more edgier.  This is because....tonight...I will be....at the Lil Wayne concert!!! My sister got us boxed seats through her work and I am pretty pumped! I went two years ago with her and some friends and we had a blast.  I love rap and r&b just as much as I love country.  Blame it on the fact that I started taking dance when I was like 3 years old and learned to appreciate the bass and beats at an early age...

Below would my dream outfit for tonight.  I keep seeing J Brand colored jeans everywhere and have no idea if I could pull them off, but I would love to try.  and, of course, I had to throw in the seahorse necklace.  I think even he he has an edgy look!

I'm loving that my birthday is next week and that I get to celebrate it at the beach!

I'm loving that a meet-up is in the works with Megan of Fried Green Pickles and Ashley of Run With Me.  This is going to be one. epic. weekend!! (Ashton - I hope to see you too!)

I'm loving that there are rumors that the NFL lockout might end next week. On my birthday. That would be the best birthday present ever! 

 I'm loving fresh cucumbers and vinegar.  This is a southern summer staple! I actually hate cucumbers plain, but put some apple cider vinegar on them and they are absolutely delicious.(Although most people only eat these in the summer months, I, no lie, eat them year round. Like 3 times a week... weird huh?)

I'm loving my Sonicare toothbrush and old school Crest Tarter Control toothpaste.  When I went to the dentist a few weeks ago, they told me my teeth didn't really even need to be cleaned! and that whatever I was doing was working.  I got an electric toothbrush for Christmas and I wish I had of had one at birth because they really do work wonders.  and I know that Crest Tarter Control toothpaste has been around since about 1982, but my teeth are for real are silky smooth all day. Even after 3 meals and quite a few snacks. I'm telling you, get some!

4th of July/Family Vacation

Here are loads of pictures from the 4th of July and my week vacation at the beach.  I, thankfully, got to do a lot of beachcombing, boating, sunning, and socializing.  I wanted to show you my beachcomning treasures but they are currently "airing out" outside after stinking up my car and entire house... Once they lose their sea fragrance, I will share those as well!

Look how big the conch was.... The people that found it spotted it right off their dock.  I would totally dive in after something like this if I ever saw it...butttt I would've put it back since it was alive.

Alos, I found out that Pink Lou Lou from, Cofessions of a 20 Something, was at the sameeee beach I was at the sameeee time I was! We were both at the Morehead City Waterfront on Friday night, literally like 20 steps apart. I saw on her blog that she had been in Morehead City/Emerald Isle after she had already left and I was super sad to know how close I came to meeting her. Friday's Fancies - God Bless America!

Friday's Fancies with {av} this week is all about being patriotic!  I will be at the beach for the Fourth with the same friends I was with for Memorial Day so I'm going to go on out a ledge and say that it's going to be a fun time! I can't wait to do some boating, beachchombing, suntanning, socializing, and relaxing!

If money grew on trees, this would be an outfit I would wear this weekend.  I love that navy dress paired with the red Tom's!

I will also be on vacation with my family next week so my presence in the blogging world will be pretty slim.
