Sea It...Love It... - Kohl's
I ran into Kohl's on Wednesday night and came across lots of sea-inspired jewelry. I didn't buy the necklace directly below, but honestly, since I left that store, I haven't stopped thinking about it. I think that's a sure sign that it should be mine. It sure would be pretty with my one shoulder navy dress...
I would do jewelry surgery on this. I would take off all of those small beads. I just like the big pieces and I'd, of course, leave the coral on!

Sea It...Love It... - Furbish
Last month, I posted here and here about the store Furbish. I had browsed around on the online store several times before I put two and two together and realized that I actually drive by the real Furbish store everyday on my way to work... On Friday afternoon, I finally got the chance to go in there for the first time! It's an awesome store with a lot of vibrant colors and great things.
After lusting over a barnacle cluster on the Furbish website, I finally got to make one of them mine! They come in a few different sizes, but I got the larger one and put it on my fireplace hearth. Below is a picture of it. I love it!
I also got these starfish earrings.
Next time I go in there, I really want to get one of the sea urchin decorations below. They remind me of all the ones I saw while snorkeling in Key West.
I need some advice though... If I get one of these, I want to spray paint it a dark purple color to resemble the sea urchins I saw in Key West.
Do y'all think this would work? Is it a good idea? I wonder how well they'd spray paint.... and I hope that if I go to the trouble, that it would actually really look like one...

Sea It...Love It... - Furbish
A few months ago, I saw a barnacle accessory by Furbish on Let The Tide Pull Your Dreams Ashore . I fell in love with it then and there and have been meaning to order it for a long time. I have been to the website several times to order it and just haven't yet. Well, while on Monograms and Manicures a few weeks ago, I got a big surprise. There is an actual Furbish store and guess. where. it's. at?? In Raleigh, which is where I live! and get this...I pass by it everyday on my way to work! Kind of sounds meant to be for me to have the barnacle accessory, wouldn't you say... The outside of the store is really cute and I've always wondered what it was. and nowww I know! Below are a few of my favorite Furbish things from the website.
Anyone want to predict how dangerous it might be for me to go in this store...

Sea It...Love It... - Target
In terms of shopping, this is one of my most favorite times of year! I kid you not, I get anxiety when I go into stores and see their new spring and summer collections. Pottery Barn and the gigantic nautical collection they have every year (dinnerware, bedding, etc.) is a prime example. All of these choices pose a major problem because I want it ALL and I can be quite indecisive while shopping. I have said for years (ask my friends) that anything sea-inspired sells out pretty fast; at least it does around here. If something at Old Navy or Target has a seashell or an anchor on it, it's gone within days. More designers should catch on to this! Below are a few things from Target that they've just put out. We better get it while we can, it might not be there for long...
