I need sunscreen...not this.
I need your help... I am in the market for a new face sunscreen. I have googled and read reviews, and then I was like bingo, I'll ask my blolg friends! This past weekend at the beach I tried out my new face sunscreen I was super pumped about, but it was a huge fail. Honest-to-goodness it looked like I was either a. sick, b. had a white mask on, c. looked like I was auditioning to be a ghost in a play or d. ALL OF THE ABOVE.
So this is where you come... I need a good, strong face sunscreen that will hopefully not turn my face white. Almost every face sunscreen I've ever had does this to me, so I might just have to deal with it, but it's pretty unattractive. The skin on my face is already so pale because I never let it get any sun, but when I don't have makeup on and pile spf 60 on it to sit out on the beach, let me tell you, the ghostly look I have going on is really beautiful. The other kicker is that I have extrememly sensitive skin, so I've always tried to get the kind that is made for faces.
Anyways, any advice you could offer would be lovely. The boaters and beach goers I'm around this weekend will certainly appreciate it!

My Mom swears by Elta sunscreens. She gets it from the pharmacy at Kroger (no RX needed). They also sell it on-line (and other places). -e
I use neutrogena ultra sheer dry-touch sunblock in SPF 70 on my face. It's light like a moisturizer but works well and does not make me oily like other sunblocks. And I use all their face washes etc. so I feel they go well together.
xoxo.
I second neutrogena ultra sheer dry-touch sunblock
i agree with the neutrogena ultra sheer drytouch. it's awesome
I use the Coppertone Water Babies stick that is SPF 30...it's very slimy but is good because it tends to stay put when you get in the water!
